Therapy for Adults
FEEL. BETTER.
You are anxious, you are easily overwhelmed, feel “off”, scared.
You feel like the title of the song “Candle in the Wind” could be about you.
People tell you you’re “too sensitive” which pisses you off.
You know that you had a tough time earlier in life but that should be over, right?
You just want to feel better.
I can help.
Life is hard! With me, there is no judgment, no shaming or “tough love.” Just gentle curiosity and support to help you feel centered, and explore new ways to take care of yourself and understand yourself so that you find hope again just feel better.
Together we will untangle the confusion of your feelings and experiences, teasing out what is what and finding your way to more serenity and productivity.

Adults in Recovery: Congratulations! If you have one minute or ten years away from your addiction, I celebrate you!
Whether you are “counting days” or are in long term recovery. I can help. Working with me, you will be in a safe place with a very compassionate listener who isn’t really interested in “tough love” but is very interested in helping you understand the underlying pains that have fueled your disease and the ways of thinking that trip you up. Learn new ways to take of your sober self. Lighten your load.
Families in recovery:
I also love to help loved ones impacted by an addiction in a family member. You also don’t have to be alone! I gently guide you in understanding and navigating this very tricky and painful situation, sometimes referred to as “codependency.” You may have intense frustration, fears, incomprehension of what has happened to your family; with all your energy going towards the addict/alcoholic. This can be debilitating. You can have a happy and joyful life whether your loved one is active in their addiction or in recovery. Let’s find that.
LGBTQ adults
My passion for supporting people to live an authentic life and create a loving supportive relationship with themselves is in full bloom in my work with transgender and gender nonconforming people. I have no agenda or judgment for your identity, gender or otherwise. I want to use YOUR preferred pronouns and name. Most important to me is creating a safe space where you will find me to be open-minded, open-hearted and ready to help you navigate the challenges of growing into and maintaining your authentic, awesome self. I support you in exploring and navigating any part of the social transitions, medical and/or surgical affirmations that you may be interested in or presently going through.
I grew up in an intensely binary world and rejoice in the changes, however slow, we are seeing in our culture around gender identity. I am cisgender woman using she/her/hers pronouns. I look forward to meeting you.
